What is the IIT JEE Exam?
The IIT JEE, or The Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination, is a national-level engineering entrance test. It is the gateway to reputed IITs, NITs, and other top engineering colleges in India. The test is held in two phases: JEE Main and JEE Advanced, and NTA (National Testing Agency) conducts it.

IIT JEE Exam 2025 Admit Card and Registration Date:
The IIT JEE main first session exam is already over. The second session’s admit card will be updated on the official portal on 29th March 2025. Aspiring students can download the admit card by typing the application number and password on the IIT JEE main exam’s official website.
IIT JEE Exam Schedule?
IIT JEE Mains Exam Date 2025: Held in January and April. IIT JEE Mains exam 2025 session 1 is over on 30th January 2025. Session 2 will be conducted from 1st April to 8th April, 2025.
JEE Advanced Exam Date 2025: JEE Advance hopefully in May or June after JEE Main results. This year, the JEE Advance exam will be held on 18th May 2025.
IIT JEE Exam Duration:
IIT JEE main exam is divided into two shifts; each shift consists of 3 hours long. The first shift is from 9 AM to 12 PM, and the second is from 3 PM to 6 PM. Students check in by 8:30 AM for shifts one and two before 2:30 PM.
How often is the IIT JEE exam conducted in a year?
JEE Main: It is held twice yearly (January and April).
JEE Advanced: Once a year (after JEE Main) is held.
IIT JEE Exam Course?
The course includes physics, chemistry, and mathematics from classes 11 and 12.
Some of the major topics are:
Physics: mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, optics.
Chemistry: Organic, Inorganic, Physical Chemistry.
Mathematics: Algebra, Calculus, coordination geometry, trigonometry.
